The innovative “bump die” design of XimmiX ® tooling delivers hard die quality and performance at just a fraction of the cost. Template-positioned tooling and spring-loaded alignment posts ensure excellent punch to die alignment and repeat accuracy. With no heavy die set or top ram attachment, the lightweight design of XimmiX ® dies simplifies handling and setup, permitting die changes to be made in just seconds. Small tool “footprint” allows standard tools to be clustered more densely than in any other modular system, reducing costs and increasing productivity. Best suited for intermittent or repetitive work of moderate production volume, XimmiX ® punches and notches materials up to 1/4″ (6.35 mm) thick mild steel.
The world’s original Modular Hard Die system, Adjustable Dies provide the ultimate in press working flexibility – ideal for prototyping, rework, retrofitting and for those infrequent or “one-time only” production runs. Simple punch-to-die alignment procedures allow the user to punch ultra-thin materials with metal-to-metal die clearances, or materials up to 1/2″ (12.7 mm) thick mild steel.
Featuring a Master Die Set with template-positioned tooling, Magna Die ® systems provide the user with off-the-press setup and rapid die change with minimum press downtime. The Master Die Set remains in the press while job-specific templates are shuttled in and out as needed. Die changes can be completed in just minutes. Larger Master Die Sets are made with segmented template stations to insure that setup and changeover operations remain simple and manageable. Magna Die ® systems are ideal for moderate to high production volumes of intermittent, repetitive stamping jobs. The system readily adapts to either hand-feeding of cut blanks and strips or coil-fed material with cutoff and is targeted for accurate punching and notching of materials from 22 GA up through 1/2″ (12.7 mm) thick mild steel.
If you have an application requiring precision alignment of parts at assembly, reassembly or for field service, the Whistler Metaligner can help you do it faster and easier with outstanding accuracy.
Mechanical clamping applies pressure to the workpiece. With vacuum clamping, the pressure is applied to the holding surface. This places less stress on the workpiece and a free, clear area for machining.
The advantages of Facette Star ® are being proven shops around the world in the construction of a variety of items.
